Skywatch Friday: Foal in twilight

I took this picture last week as the sun was setting, immediately following a light rain. I opened up the picture in Photoshop just to adjust the shadows in the foreground because it was nothing but black. This little foal came up to the edge of the fence to see what was going on.
Readers are encouraged to visit Tom Wigley's site where he hosts Skywatch Friday every week. Thanks, Tom, for being our host!
Have a great Friday, everyone,
and a great 4th of July Weekend!

Beautiful foal, and beautiful sky. Lovely blog and the colors on it are amazing and fresh. It reminds me of the first blog I began with in 2005. All yellow with black type. Your blog is a lot prettier than that one was.

That is mind blowing. Very realistic. I can feel as thought I was there.

Have a fantastic weekend.

It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.
We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!

Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.

And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!
Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions

Gorgeous photo, such a dramatic sky. Wow! And so much open space. I can just imagine how cool and refreshing the air felt... (It's triple digits and humid here, so that's especially nice to imagine!)

Happy Independence Day to you, too!

(I made an American style meal for folks here in Italy. They'd never had Jell-O or tacos before.)

Buon weekend to ya! :)

Beautiful photo, Kate. Sorry I haven't been around for a while but I've had visitors from the UK. They've gone over to Vancouver Island for 2 weeks but will be back visiting me before heading home. I went and voted at Wine on the Keyboard. Have a great long weekend.
