Goodbye sunflowers

We're moving from this farm because my husband's position has been terminated. It's what's had me down lately, because you all know how much I love it here.
But there's going to be a silver lining in this cloud. I know this much is true.
I'll talk to you about it later, ok? For now, I just want to enjoy the sunflowers and our garden and take pictures while I can. Aren't these just so cheerful looking?

You know my prayers are with. Keep up the positive attitude. It's just a new adventure! Take lots of pics. Even I want to remember it and I've never lived there.

I know it's so hard to leave a place you love. I too, believe there is always a silver lining to things. Keep us posted!!! How's George going to take it?

Dang. That's hard! Been there a few times myself, over the years - might be going through it again, soon. It was fun when we were young and childless. It's not so fun anymore. :-/

At least you've got your cheerful sunflowers and a silver lining to look forward to. :-D

I was afraid something like this was brewing after yesterday's post. But I do agree that there will be a silver lining, and you are sure to both find it, and take beautiful photographs of it all. All the best to you. I am thinking nothing but good thoughts for you. Lauren

When a door closes, God opens a window. Try not to get discouraged by the roadblocks life throughs at you...usually it's for the best and if we look really hard, there just might be a better opportunity ahead, just waiting for us to find it. I have faith that you will find your silver lining, Kate. Like the sunflower, keep your face to the sun :)

Hugs,
Debra

Giving up what you know is always hard. It is even harder when you love what you know.
But sometimes the unknown surprises is and isn't so bad.

Omigosh, I wondered what had been going on with you lately. That is so sad.

When I look back at the times in my life when I have had to move on to another chapter, I realize now that the next chapter was always better. It never seems so at the time, however. As Dr. John says, giving up what you know - and love - is always hard.

We will look forward to hearing about your new adventures and seeing your wonderful photographs.

Sorry to hear this news. What is that saying, though....."When God shuts a door, He opens a window." There are good adventures awaiting you guys, I'm sure, and you will look back and see it all as a blessing.

The sunflowers are gorgeous!
